And here are three months of digital art I’d fallen behind on posting! For those of you who are new, I’ve been teaching myself photomanipulation, and these were my first attempts. Also this is my art, please don’t copy it without permission.
From Atalanta in Calydon
For winter’s rains and ruins are over,
And all the season of snows and sins;
The days dividing lover and lover,
The light that loses, the night that wins;
And time remembered is grief forgotten,
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten,
And in green underwood and cover
Blossom by blossom the spring begins.
April (this is one of my favorites):
(In Her Quiet Window
Too young to have learned what sorrow means,
Attired for spring, she climbs to her high chamber.
The new green of the street-willows is wounding her heart,
Just for a title she sent him to war.)
—Wang Chang Ling
Come to the orchard in Spring.
There is light and wine, and sweethearts
in the pomegranate flowers.
If you do not come, these do not matter.
If you do come, these do not matter.
Hope you like them! Any tips for improvement?
